Anyone have a Maxpedition Pgymy Falcon?

Sorry, no experience with their products, but have been looking for a low profile waist pack and will be looking into Maxpedition, thanks for posting.

Regarding design and practicality of pockets, etc., it is perfect for me, but that is being objective.

I would say construction and materials are superior to just about everything else I have seen. I haven't had mine for very long, so it hasn't stood the test of time with me yet, but I expect great durability. Heavy duty zippers, great stitching, reinforcements, etc.

I have a Maxpedition M1 waistpack and I'm pretty happy with it. Carries a surprising amount of crap in a small package. If a smaller package is what you're after you could look at the M2.

Very strongly made.

You can see them HERE.

I have one...and I love it. The construction is great, and the design is really well thought out. I could do without the tri-strap at the top, but other than that it's great. I like it particularly because it's compact, but holds whatever I need it to (for going to school, or on short hiking trips.

Pick one up, well worth it. I can recommend TADgear.com for quick service.

I have one and I LOVE it. I used to have the FatBoy and it was not large enough. I rec'd mine about 3 months ago and don't leave home without it. It is plenty large enough for my EDC stuff PLUS plenty for more stuff if I need to add food, water, jackets, toys for the kids, etc. It is very comfortable and is not TOO tactical looking.

It is made TOUGH as nails and has plenty of adaptability as far as adding loops, biners, etc.

I will try to list EVERYTHING that I carry in it and give you an idea of how full (percentage) it is with all of this stuff in it. If I get a chance, I will take some pics of the items OUT of the pack and then the pack when it is filled.

SHARP THINGS:
Simonich Bitterroot (strapped to right shoulder strap)
Graham Brothers EDC Wharncliffe (outside webbing)
Leatherman Charge XTi (inside middle pocket)
Letaherman Squirt S4 (outside top loop - near handle)
Atwood micro Bug Out Bar (side water bottle pocket)

FIRST AID THINGS:
2 cases (aprox 5"x9") full of first aid items (main large pocket) TOO MANY TO LIST, BUT YOU GET THE IDEA
CPR mask (side water bottle pocket)

BRIGHT THINGS:
Inova T3 (about to be clipped to one of the straps)
Glow ring (outside center clip - ID marker in the dark)

MISC ITEMS:
GoreTex Rain shell (main pocket)
iPod (side water bottle pocket)
iPaq (alongside iPod)
Small Pocket Moleskine (small first pocket)
Fisher Space pen
Cross gel pen
3 sharpies (all different sizes)
Antibacaterial hand gel
Wet wipes (have kids ya' know)
Bandana
3x4" survival (fire) box

Other items that I cannot remember I am sure.

Hope this helps!

David

BUY ONE! - You will NOT regret it...

I have several Maxpedition products and like the others said, heavy duty and well built. If you go with the condor or the standard falcon there is a place for a hydration bladder. Try www.twowolvesoutdoor.com, the best service and prices I have found on the net. I get my stuff within 3 days of purchase from these guys.

I have one...its sweet. You can take off the tri-strap thing if you don't like it... buts its good for straping down your jacket or fishing poles and the like. Every one should have one.
