I hear almost nothing about this one. It’s a really good looking knife and cool to see a spydie hole on a triad lock. Anyone have any experience with this model?

I have one, as well as a GoldenEye Elite. Prefer the silver to the gold. Like hermit dave, surprised they weren't more popular. Unlike dave, I find the thumb ramp placement to be comfortable. I used to carry the Grik, which is smaller, and found it's placement to be more awkward.I hear almost nothing about this one. I wonder if they will get near that level ever. The deal you are talking about is a great one.I had one. It was the Goldeneye. Very nice knife. I'm surprised it's not more popular. Real carbon fiber, S35VN. I like the ergos, with the exception of the thumb ramp. For me, it's awkwardly placed and just plain uncomfortable to use. I removed the thumb ramp (had to buy a tiny allen wrench set) and problem solved. Once they get near $100, I'd get one if I were you.

I think it is hollow grind, looks similar to the code 4. If it’s flat grind that’s a no go for me.To those that have tried them: is it thick behind the edge? No hollow grind, right?
Mine is flat. My Code 4 is very shallow hollow, so can see thinking they're the same just by looking at them.I think it is hollow grind, looks similar to the code 4. If it’s flat grind that’s a no go for me.
Ah dang I appreciate it. I like the hollow grind on the thicker stocks so that’s too bad. Yea the code 4 still has some meat behind the edge.Mine is flat. My Code 4 is very shallow hollow, so can see thinking they're the same just by looking at them.
This be trueI've heard the Goldeneye's actually turn into Silvereye's after not much use. Apparently, the gold coating wears off quickly.
