Hey guys, I would call myself a dabbler in knifemaking, I mostly make stuff for friends, and stuff like that. I made a knife between yesterday and today, but I seriously suck at making any kind of sheath:( I will post pictures, and if anyone has a stock bk9 or bk7 sheath they dont use it would be awesome. here is some pics!

Compared to the bk2:

I will do a head to head with the bk2 today if anyone wants to see it. I was kinda just something I made for the hell of it. (days off) And it turned out to be a workhorse! It is somewhere around 1080 steel I had laying around, about .200 thick maybe? and a 55-56 heat treat. Oh yeah, the handles are homemade micarta:)

I think i'll grind on it some more, and lose the thumb ramp, then maybe more slant in the back. but it has a sexyyy belly on it:D

Hey man, that's a nifty design. I think I've got one stuck in a box somewhere. You are welcome to it. If you want it PM me your address.

Thanks so much tradewater! And Thanks OFM! I really like this style of blade, its good to hear that it looks at least decent:)

It kind of has a Tom Brown Tracker look to it.--and I dont think your knife qualifies as a homemade knife--the knife I made qualifies though, it looks like a prison shank.lol

Yeah, I was thinking a mix between a persian, but with some meat on the end for chopping, and I used the handle style I like on this type of knife, and after looking at it, it looks like the tracker, but more continuous if that makes sense?:D You guys think I should lose the thumb ramp? or the double ramp thing I got goin on? The double curve/ramp. is kinda my trademark, I notice it happens alot with the knives I make. I guess just cause its so different.
