I tried a search but couldn't find one.
I've got a small drop point fixed blade started that I'd like to try carrying for work this winter. Theres a million places on my coveralls to clip a folder but they all seem conducive to having it end up clipped to the bale of straw I'm about to throw out of the barn
And clipping it to my jeans underneath them makes it impossible to get too. The handle of a fixed blade on my belt should end up just below the edge of my carharts and make it out of sight but easy to access
What all does it take to make a simple kydex sheath? Any special tools? Do I need to do anything special to the knife so that the sheath has something to grip?
All I care about is that it will fit on my belt, and will keep the knife secure. It doesn't have to look good or have 18 different carry options.
If the kydex doesn't pan out I have a friend weho does leather work and could probably make me a sheath.
thanks for any help
