I have the Umnumzaan StarTac variant, I was interested in the small Sebenza they have now. It's $29.95 over the plain small Sebbie and with free s/h, like the 'zaan was. I love the looks of the StarTac 'zaan over the plain 'zaan - plus, like the small Sebbie, it was available... plain CRKs were hard to find. Anyway, what will I think of the small Sebbie after the 'zaan? Any ideas or suggestions? I have a Buck Mayo TNT (172) as a 'dress up' EDC now. Thanks!

You will greatly appreciate the small sebenza as an EDC... it is very good. I think it fits in the hand a little better then the TNT. It's just a tad smaller then the TNT but the cutting edge is the same. I think that the small sebenza is the all around perfect EDC. It just locks into the hand incredibly.

I got a chance to handle two small 21's yesterday. (A micarta inlay and plain handle rain drop damascus) Both were very beautiful knives. But I was amazed at how small they actually were in person. Amazed...

If your into the small folders then it would be a good choice.

For me, I'm so glad I bought a large because the small is definitely too small for me.

If you're into 3 inch bladed folders (like me) than you'll love it!

I like it because its a good compromising size. It does everything that I'll ever need a folder to do and doesn't scare people off when I whip it out!;) Being that the small and large Sebenzas utilize the same blade thickness, the small Seb is actually a very stout knife. I recall one of the members a while ago saying that he batoned kindling to make a fire when he was left with nothing other than what was on him (small sebenza). I've got two smalls, a micarta inlay and an old school 93' P model and I wouldn't trade them for the world!

That Startac Sebenza looks pretty sweet too!

Small Sebenzas are great for EDC, dressing game and other chores!!! I still want this one again!

And if you can get the Startac why not? I miss my small Reg!!!

I have both, meaning the Star-Tac and Star-Benza, and prefer the latter. My Star-Benza was sent back to CRK a week or two ago to have double thumb lugs installed, and I hope to get it back this week. It is definitely worth the $29.95 premium over the standard Small Sebenza 21
