Anyone have an Emerson Commander?

Hey guys, I was messing around with my commander not too long ago and messed it up.

I was wondering if any of you guys had one that ya'll would be willing to part with. No real preference as to which confirguration of blade style/color, just that it be the Normal size Commander.

I know this could/should go to the wanted to buy area, but I figured all of you would be more likely to see this. Besides, we can simply talk about how great our commanders are to keep this thread here :D.

My commander was my first emerson......been to hell and back with it.......saved my ass countless times........I really want a commander.
 
I only have one or I would be glad to help you out. I really love my Commander its my second one, the first one was long term borrowed by my brother for his deployment to Korea. It is my utility EDC right now and I am loving it. One of the few recurves I actually like. No complaints on the Commander.
 
I understand your lusting for another Commander my Mini Commander is an awesome knife and my current favorite i have the gray plain edge. Love it! and sorry to hear about your commander getting messed up man.
 
First I castrated it by cutting off the wave. Which turned out really fine, but then I missed being able to wave it. Then I thought I would try to polish the blade since the "satin" finish was all marked up from being put to use. Note the word "try" as I simply ruined it.

I probably won't get one anytime soon, but I would certainly jump on one if the opportunity showed itself.

I'm satisfied with my CQC-12 for now........:D
 
I love my commander, but I am moving away from liner locks. I do plan to pick up a commander (super or normal) in the future and get it pimped (STR frame lock, Krien grind, and so on) :D
 
I just put my commander/sebbenza fund on hold again, I've been a bad putty tat :o.

I just pulled the trigger for a ZT 301. I hope it's worth it, J.

Iv got a 300 and its a superb knife, you wont regret that one :thumbup:

I de-recurved my one as I just dont like recurves but I did like it enough to get it any way.

Id say the F&F are a bit better on the ZT3s than on the EKI HDs but their defo in the same league :thumbup:

Hey, thanks for the info Haze :thumbup:. I've been searching like a dog for it's bone since I discovered the ZT's for sale here.

Wow, nice pics. Thanks for the comparison. It looks like it will fit right in with my collection of beefy folders.

Did you take the wave off of your CQC-12 or is it an older model?

I did de-wave that one and I have a waved one in the safe ;)

The ZT300 is a beefy folder indeed :D I can see you liking it :thumbup:
 
If the number below the thumb disc is a serial # of sorts then I have an '05 Mini Commander #1001.
 
I have been carrying my commander for a couple of weeks, and I was going to carry a different knife yesterday. Well I ended up putting the Commander in a different pocket. It is really an awesome utility blade.

Are'nt you the guy who sent me a private message asking how I mirror finished my commander ? Maybe I can help you out.
