Anyone have any experience with this knife?

The Magna is an extremely well built knife for the money. It is on the big side though. If you are looking for a real workhorse, this is a good buy for the money. I have several of the aluminum and zytel versions.
 
I have never owned one of these knives, but have had the opportunity to handle one of the aluminum handled models a couple of times. This is a good solid knife that has a great handle shape for my hand. The action was smooth on the knives I tried.

This is a pretty big, fairly heavy knife. Personally, I like a knife with a little more heft.

Also, considering the price that you can get one of these knives for, it comes with a good steel. I like AUS-8A at this price level.
