Found this mixed in with some old coins I was given.. Anyone know anything about this little gizmo?
 
The words on the coin is cinco pesetas, which means 5 pesetas, pesetas is a monetary unit of Spain.
 
just throwing out ideas here, I would not know the right answer, but it could either be a novelty item they sold in a gift shop in Spain or even a home-made "penny knife" which people have been known to make.
 
There is a stamp on the nail file blade I can't quite read. IIRC, coin knives have been around for a while. It may be a one off project of someone.
