so I don't know how many of y'all know, but I modded my handles on my 7 with a soldering iron and they turned out great, aesthetically. I thought the grip was great, too. But yesterday and today I've been doing a ton of chopping (wish I had a 9) and those handles are eatin my hands up. So I really wanted to know if anyone has a pair of "virgin" becker handles, just an original pair of grivory scales. I haven't been able to find any on the net... I guess I could pay $40 for a pair of micarta or wood scales, but if I could et some grivory scales for cheap that'd be great.

Take some sand paper to them, use 400 grit or so. It should be done by hand, but if your fingers start to get sore, you can use a wooden dowel too.
Hold the knife to recognize the hot spots and mark them with chalk so you know where exactly you have to smooth.
If I had a spare set, I would send em. Someone will come through for ya.

I tried getting a screenshot of the drop down, but it won't be captured. Should get a dropdown when you click my username that gives you a few options: View Profile, View Forum Posts, View Articles, @ Send Email. if you click on the last one that should pop up the dialogue. No matter, check your own profile and look at your visitor messages. Should be able to click the link I left there, or just copy it and paste into your email. You could also visit my user profile and email me from there.
