Anyone have BM 741 and BM 710?

I like the look of the 741 Onslaught, but I didn't know how big it was until I watched a video. Does anyone have a 710 and 741 that they can compare in a picture so I can see just how much bigger it is? Thanks.

Thanks, I couldn't find them for some reason.

It doesn't seem to much bigger... Bah, don't know what to do.
 
Just buy one.

If all else, you'll have a blade for those times when you want to say "Now this is a knife" :).
 
I was actually really surprised at the price, it's one of the reason I'm considering it ;)

I think it's between this and the Emerson CQC-8.
 
Huge knife... I do like the look though, will wait for mini onslaught lol
 
I have a 710 D-2 and a 710 M-4.
They look big, but I just drop one of them into my pocket and don't even realize it's there. :thumbup:

I suppose some folks use the clip on them, but I've never felt the need to use it. :confused:
 
I guess it's not so much how big it is, just how big it feels. It looks like it would be very comfortable to hold.

I'm seriously considering it now, bit of an impulse buy but I just got a new job so I think I can do it :) Too bad it likely won't get here by the weekend if I order from GPKnives though.

EDIT: Damn, it's out of stock there. Anyone know of other places that carry it for the same price?

Thanks, the discount code really helps with the prices.

Is the 741 even available yet? Knifeworks has it for pre-order, GPKnives is out of them, and I think BM's site had "Coming Soon" or something.

EDIT: Never mind, KnifeCenter has them in stock.

Quite a few dealers have them in stock now, including KW. Although I believe the only version to be released so far is the satin plain edge. If you wanted coated or combo edge you may have to wait until those come out.
 
I picked one of these up and its a big Folder, videos do not do it justice, I would handle one in person if you can before buying because the size of the blade could be a turn off for some people who like smaller folders for carry.. For size comparison I would compare it along the size of a regular 610 Rukus, I do like the onslaught and like the unique persian look of the blade, and its a great slicer.. I would recommend picking one of these beasts up.. If you like big folders like the skirmish and Rukus then you will love the onslaught!

The 610 Rukus I carry in a hip pocket with the clip, on the rare occassions when I actually carry it!! :p
