Hey, everyone. Was looking at an interesting knife (the EKA Swede 9) & was wondering if any of you have any experience with this knife or this company? Looks like a good all-around pocketknife, but it also is supposed to have a ferro rod & a sharpener that pull out of the handle. Can't see where it would be on the picture & haven't gotten an answer on Amazon. yet. Anyone know anything about it?

They don't pull out of the handle. They're just included.

I have an older Eka folder. Good knife, good grind and fine heat treat. If you like it, buy it.

Several of the folks in Traditional have posted about their Eka knives. They are well liked.

Hi. Don’t know about the model you’re specifically asking for but I own a Nordic W12 and have to say it’s a good knife. Solidly built, good materials and good fit and finish. It came with a very nice kydex sheath and a fire-steel (a little thin for my taste). The only complaint I had about this one was about the thickness at the edge, too thick for my use. I managed to re-profile it (not drastically not owning professional tools) and now it’s really a good outdoor companion. Good value for money product. I'd say, if you like any of their models, go for it :).
