I've loved Mcusta for awhile, but glancing around Japanese knife sites looking for FBs, I found some nice seki cuts. Those who have owned or handled them, what did you guys think? I'm particularly interested in the SC-138D.

I have six of the Seki-Cut Lum folders but not that one. I have almost clicked "buy" on it 4 or 5 times . . . I really like the Lum folder Seki-Cut is making. I have the large/small G10, large/small Micarta and large/small aluminum.

They are super smooth and well made for for under $140. I carry one quite often. Mostly the large. They flick open with just a nudge of my thumb and have no play.

The blade is a work of art on all mine. D2, sharp as a razor.

The only complaint I "had" was the thumb stud knurling is very abbrasive and the stud is somewhat long so reaching into my pocket would scrape my hand. I resolved that by running a SharpMaker rod around the edge and some of the knurling. Just a hair. Enough to smooth it out but it doesn't look any different.
