Thanks a ton! Very helpful. One thing bothers me though.
I don't like it that I can't see through the spyderhole! After a bit of thinking, I now see one of the few disadvantages to the spyderhole...unlike the stud, it is difficult to get close to the handle...you really need a lot more blade exposed for it.
Just bought a couple Benchmade EDCs, and sold one of my spydies, so figured it's time to get another one I can carry every day. I think I might be giving my Dodo to my father...leaving me with very few.
Right now I'm considering:

Not going to buy one until my birthday in late november, so I get a little time to think about it.

Did you think about full size Persian, It is great EDC.

Well, the full sized Persian (as well as several other knives on the list) is a little big for my tastes. The only reason the Kris and ATR bypass this preference is that there's not a smaller version available. I do think it's a beautiful knife though...
