Anyone Have Info? USFS Plumb Brush Axe

I just picked up this vintage Plumb USFS marked brush axe. I cant find any info about these or even pictures. Anybody have any info? I'm trying to find when they were used/made or anything really. Its like these dont exist. I can find similar brush axes, but not this particular model.

That ad scan is awesome. I'd assume mine was made a bit later, with 3 rivets instead of two.

That's quite the oddball as far as brush hooks go! Not many single-edgers out there that don't have a strap, and the eyes are usually welded, not riveted.

Yes. I think this is a later (cheaper) model.

I'm thinking maybe 40's? It looks exactly like the 1930 ad scan above, but with 1 more rivet.

Here's a better pic of the round headed rivets, Plumb USA stamp and FS marks on blade, eye and handle.
