I put down money for a small as soon as I heard about them.
If this is true, it's news to me. I e-mailed CRK in December and this was the response:
"Chris still hasn’t designed a small Sebenza 25 and I have no idea if/when he will."
So if you really have both confirmed that a Small Sebenza 25 has/will be produced and were allowed to reserve one, please confirm this. Thanks.
I just put down money at a local shop with the promise that I would get the first one they receive. I was not given a timeline or anything
Just e-mailed CRK again and they said there was no news on the Small Sebenza 25, and not to check back for at least four months or so.
That's pretty shady, I would go get my money back if I were you. For all you know they could be closed down before the small 25 even comes out.
Is there real concern about Chris Reeve closing down his company? I have read a couple messages online about the Sebenza 25 being the last of the knives for his company is this something that we should be concernd about?
Thanks for the information.
While I don't think it good business practice to put down/take money on something not even announced; the likelihood of a small 25 is certainly a notch above a pink unicorn. The concern is about the shady retailer that took the OP's money down on a pink unicorn.
