Anyone have pics of Custom shop engraved blade/bolsters?

I'm looking for an example(s) of the custom shop engraving.

How good is it? How is it done? It lists 8 characters possible on the bolsters, is that 4 either side or 4 on top of 4 on one bolster?

I'm thinking about getting myself a "welcome home" gift and am just wondering about the engraving if I get any done to it.

Or, am I just as well off to have it done locally?

Thanks in advance!

I personally do not have one, but I have seen examples of the work and it is first rate. Hopefully, Goose will post you a photo of the "Goose Special" as an example.

P.S.: WELCOME HOME and THANK YOU!!

Sue,
Thanks.

I haven't left yet (Feb/Mar time frame). Just planning ahead, makes time go by faster I've found.

Hi OC,

Here are a few pic's. One with the bolster etched and one with the blade etched. These were both form the Custom Shop.

Well then, I would suggest you consider two: (1) one as a going away present, and (2) another as a welcome home present. ;)

Take care, good luck, and be safe!!

jb4570 showed me a pic of his, that's all it took, here's a couple my BG-42 blades out of the Custom Shoppe:

I don't know who made this job, the custom shop or anybody else? But he did a great job - or not?

Best,
Haebbie
