I have a chance to buy a couple of BCCI Club knives and I wonder if anyone has pictures of them or can point me to where to find the pictures?

#1 is the 1990 BCCI 531 Sawby

#2 is the 1991 BCCI 532.

I'm going to ask the guy for some pictures, but I thought maybe someone had them to show.

ugh ..
dave you really dont need picts ...
you want these ...
of that i am real sure
unless the price is too high
then you dont ,,,
your call
but if reasonable jump,
dont hesitate as some one else will ask them to dance!

Dave,
I will bring some sepia type pictures in tomorrow, scan them and email them to you. The gold etch on the first Sawby 531 is different from all the club logo gold etch annual knives that have followed. Can you wait until tomorrow?

Oh I'm gonna buy them. I still have all the money I saved by not having to replace my well last Saturday.:D;)

I just wanted to see some pictures.

Dave,
I just remembered a BCCI newsletter article. Look in the archived issues on the club website. March 2006, page 10. There is a picture of the Sawby 531 1990 club knife. The other pictures of later knives show the same gold etch club logo that will be on the 1991 532 knife. I probably should also point out that the two damascus bladed knives (110 and 112) did not have a gold etch.

Thanks Larry, I knew that I had seen something in one of the newsletters but short of going through them again, I didn't know how to find it. I appreciate it.

Sorry Dave, I knew the Sawby etch was different but didn't know where to find it . So, I had to remain quiet . Thanks Larry . DM

Wow Larry, that would be terrific. The picture of the knife in the newsletter is pretty bad and I can't tell much about the blade etch.

They will be on their way to me today, so I may have them Saturday. I can post pictures for the Sunday Picture Show.
