It’s N690, seems pretty good. Not a lot of opinions/reviews online. Does anyone on here have it? How good of a slicer is it?

N690 is spruced up 440c I was told
The dmp looks like a handicapable blade
I'd trust my life on it, almost bought it myself
But didn't like any of the ebay sellers who had it

Looks like a pretty sweet fixed blade. I like their fixed blades apparently, but I'm not too big on their folder designs. Funny story, when I was first getting into knives, I bought into the marketing of heavy duty folders being just as strong as fixed blades. This was during the big heavy duty folder craze of the late 2000's. I got an Extrema Ratio folder and immediately went out to try batoning with it. I was splitting wood everyday to heat my family's home. I stuck that knife on top of the wood to split it down vertically to make kindly, got to the third hit and BOOM, the lock broke, critical failure. It wasn't the knife's fault, but just a funny story. I ended up fixing it though.

Just a quick note, if you check some of the sellers in the EU they have much better pricing on Extrema Ratio than what we can get here in the States. Lamnia, MyGoodKnife, and Coltelleria Collini are all very reputable online retailers. No taxes are charged if we are in the US, but occasionally I get a levy from Uncle Joe for a tariff thru UPS or DHL.

Thanks, ended up getting the AMF model, €100 more but has a longer blade and a better profile with a much better sheath.

I like the looks and such, but not full tang. I have not seen any pics of what the tang looks like. Anyone have one?
