anyone have the fallkniven combination whetstone?

I have a couple DC4 models and a DC3 model and am satisfied with the performance of these sharpeners.

If you look around, you can get the DC4 for the price knifeworks is offering the DC3 for.

Not the finest edge, but I can get the "shaving sharp" edge that handles most of my needs.
 
I'm really happy with the DC4, I had the small ez-lap diamond plates and this is a lot better. The diamond side is pretty fine (finer than the 1200 ezlap) but cuts fast, and the ceramic puts a pretty good polish. I'd definately recommend.

BTW the DC3 is a lot smaller than it looks.
 
all i got to say is that the DC4 will let me put hair whittling edges on my knives. the ceramic side rocks. i myself love it. go for it and get it if you can. you wont be dissapointed.
 
+1 4" DC4 (The 3" DC3 is a little on the small side)

Best small portable sharpening stone on the planet.

And yes, looking around I did see a few places that have the DC4 for around the same price that knifeworks has the DC3.
 
I use it for my U2, with good results.

For softer steels, I find an extra fine DMT works better than the ceramic side for final sharpening.

I need to practice more with this stone....
