Does anyone have the G10 Police? What do you think of it?

It seems a bit expensive, but it looks like a great alternative to the Endura and maybe the Millie.

I had an se Police 3 that I traded a couple three years ago. It's thinner and a little longer than the Millie IIRC

The blade isn't as wide as a Millie. The tip is thin like the Millie. The g-10 is smoother than a Millie.

I like it, but didn't/couldn't do anything a Millie could do.

It's at least 1-1.5 heavier than the Endura maybe even more.

Im a fan of the fully serrated police3. Very long knife and an excellent cutter. I like it better than the military. Very thin and pockets well.

I have a ton of Spydercos, but somehow I had not been aware of the Police 3 until very recently. I will be adding one to my collection soon. I like everything I have heard and seen about it, especially the blade shape.

The G10 Police has a thicker tip than the standard Police, plus it is G10 with skeletonized liners, rather than slick stainless. I have never held one as such things are hard to find over here. But, I can order one. I want to talk about this knife as it looks interesting. If I had gotten the foliage green G10 Endura, then I would not even think about it.

If you like the endura, you will love the police 3. Do yourself a favor and go for it. You will be pleased.

I do tend to agree with you on that "legato1" >> I more or less cut my Spyder Teeth on an older GIN-1 Police model. But my ATS-55 was my favorite serrated POLICE model and it had a G-10 handle>> it was the first generation of G-10 handled POLICE models from the late 90s/early2000s era. They also offered up a ROOKIE model during that time period with ATS-55 blade steel as well.

Now I myself I do like the C-36 Military model considerably better for many reasons>> and I really miss the full Spyderedged version of the Military model. But I would definitely go with the SE POLICE model over an SE ENDURA model any day of the week. The fully serrated POLICE model regardless the handle it has is truly one of Spyderco's most iconic Spyderedged knives and truly helped make Spyderco the King of serrated blades.
