Anyone have trouble reassembling their Alias?

My new Alias is filling it's need very well. As posted earlier, the lockup and action seemed a bit stiff off the bat, but after loosening the pivot screw a thou' (or maybe a 32nd) and cylcling it a lot, it's feeling very smooth and great.

I have absolutely no need to take it apart, and if I were a Rhesus Monkey, that would be me just fine forever, but being a human, I'm curious to see it apart, and to enjoy the experience (and yes, fondling, didn't want to say it, but...).

Anyone ever have any trouble with lockup or action after reassembling their Alias?

thanks very much.

I know it'll void the warranty, but really am not concerned with that at this point. I take my car for warranty service, but wouldn't bother for a pocket knife.

I took mine apart with no problems:

I have taken apart many knives and had little trouble with any of them (except for those blasted assisted oppening kershaws)

The beauty of a knife like this is that it is made of quality materials and yet is so simple. You should have no issues with taking it apart and putting it back together, unless you lose some of the parts. Good Luck

I recommend taking it apart again and cleaning every part with warm, soapy water. Then rinse, dry and reassemble with a very minimal amount of lubricant (a light grease or oil). Sometimes excessive oil will slow down the action or mess up the lock contact.
