Anyone heard from Munk as of late?

He's probably been sittin' over at the Marlin forum too much. If he doesn't pop in on this thread I'll try and scare him up.

His last post here was the 11th. I was gonna email him later today. Nice to hear that others also worried. I kind of didn't expect that to come up, but I should have know on this forum it would.

Needless to say, I like being on this forum with the rest of you guys.

I noticed he hand't been around, too. Rusty, let us know if you hear from him. I hope everything is ok with Munk.

Just emailed him a link to this thread.

Timpani, do you have a link to the Marlin forum? I'm feeling the need for a lever action 357 ( or maybe a 45/70 ).

I e-mailed him a link to the thread as well, before you Bro.;)

Bro, my son got that Winchester Long Colt .45 with a 16" Barrel and it's pretty nice.:)
It doesn't romp on me as bad as my Marlin .357 which is nil anyway.:D ;)
A heavy rifle would do me in and leave me looking like I was rode hard and put away wet, literally. :( :grumpy: :o ;)

OT, but bait for munk whose a 41 nut.:)

I've got a Win 94 Trapper in 44 mag.

I'd love to find a Marlin in 41 mag. I found five more 41 speedloaders the other day which adds up to a box with a Mod 58 M&P and 20 loaded loaders. I figured they'd stop making the speedloaders for lack of sales, so whenever I saw any I bought them. A 41 lever action would do great, but if I ever see one for sale it'll probably be double the retail price due to scarcity.

No, I want the 357 cause with the exception of the 58 and a 9mm model 39, all my pistols are in 38 spl. or 357 or smaller calibers. (380, 32, 25 ).

An excellent choice IMO. Of course I bought my little .357 Marlin Carbine several years ago right after they first came out. I have never been sorry and it's great to have just one round for my carbine and pistol.
Actually three rounds as the carbine will do the .38 Sp and the .38 Plus P loads, just doesn't go quite as far, but are good for 50 yards anyway.

I e-mailed him too! He's certainly gonna feel the love---or a little paranoid. ;)

Rusty, "Marlin Talk" is right here:
http://www.marlinfirearms.com/marlinTalk/index.php
Actually, that link takes you to the privacy agreement page, but I coulnd't link you past it. Just hit "accept." :)

41, btw, is my favorite pistol caliber. I'm seriously considering a Marlin 41 soon.

I did the same thing, but in .44 Mag.

Note to Munk's Mom.

Dear Munks's Mom,
Can Munk come out and play? We would like for him to join us at the Bladeforums. We'll be good (fingers crossed behind back  ).

Pretty please(!,?),
The HI Cantina

He mentioned awhile back that he might be driving to Las Vegas for a wedding sometime this summer. Perhaps he's on the road? Last post I saw from him was June 13th.

And taking one of his kids with him, then up thru California.

I'd been thinking maybe he was on vacation - just an idea in the back of my head. But yes, I remember that.

If that's what it is, the best thing we can do to and for him is keep wondering and have half the forum waiting up for him when he makes it home. How did that song go?

" Wake up, little Suzie, wake up...

"It's 4 AM, our goose is cooked, our reputation is shot. Wake up little Suzie, we got to go home..."

Might be a little embarrasing, but good for him to know so many people were thinking about him. Anyway, if he comes by your place, let us know, Raggetty.:p

PS: T1mpani - thanks for the link. Looks like it oughta be a good forum. I'm now signed in there as "russlate" if I ever post there. What am I saying? I'll run off at the mouth over there, it ain't no gamble at all. Just a matter of time.

Will do, Rusty. I offered an invite, hopefully he'll look me up if he passes thru. We'll leave a light on just in case. ;)

If he has, then it behooves large number of physicaly fit forumites to pay this neigbor of his a visit. Move to New York 'City...

Indeed!

I can hear the cops now "its weird, according to witnesses there must have been 30 cars in that guys driveway, and not ONE of them with a local license plate!!??":D "I wonder how we're gonna get all those pieces into evidence bags!"

In a post over a year ago, I suggested to munk how to handle the neighbor. Munk and the neighbor were having a problem over a common driveway, IIRC.

Five gallons of gas fixes lots of problems in Kaintucky, should work in Montana, me thinks. Of course, that is just hearsay. :D

Yeah, it's definitely not a good idea to make enemies of a bunch of khukuri collectors. I do hope he's all right, hopefully just enjoying a nice vacation.
