Anyone heard from Sarge?

Just wondering if anyone has heard from Sarge via e-mail or the like?
Things should be a little better over there now, but one never knows when some sneaky character is gonna try to put the hurt on our troops.:grumpy:
I'm hoping that Sarge and his boy's are having some good duty time and all goes well so that all return to us safely and without injury or worse.

Last I heard, lead elements of the 4th were in Iraq. I haven't heard anything on where they were headed, though. Hope he is well, whereever he is.
 
I think about him every day and say a little prayer for him and his men. I don't figure any prayer is waisted.:)

Had to go into the Dr's office today to have him check on my foot. Seems that I have a little infection in it so he gave me a script for some antibiotics and some Phisohex, a sterilizing soap. He said it should be about gone or gone in four days.
He was well pleased with the range of motion I have in it. I've been resting my other leg on the big toe alone, bending it down, so that's quite a lot of pressure.:eek:
Then I prop my toe up against something solid and put the weight of my leg on it to stretch it the other way.
It's gonna be great when it all heals up!!!!:D

Don't want to take this thread away from Sarge and his boy's though. Maybe Sarge will be able to log on after a week or so, sure hope so!!!!:D
 
Good to hear about you, though, too, Yvsa.

Too many here that mean something to me.

We should worry about those "near and dear" to us, even those we haven't met in person yet.

Thank you for asking, Pappy - I've wondered about you too.

Seems like it'd be about time for Sarge to get a message to one of us, and then the forum was down. Maybe he'll get to us soon.
 
I'm sure Sarge is well and looking after his boys !!

Always figured he had more important things to do, than visit with us here on the forums. But I gotta admit, he's been on my mind as well. Still a praying for him, and cant wait till he gets back.
 
No word from Sarge yet but I don't worry too much. He said he wouldn't volunteer for anything crazy and he's got a couple of decades in service so knows his way around.

But a little smoke never hurts anything.
