Mike Girdwood? Supposed to be Canadian, and supposed to be well known custom knifemaker, but I can't find anything on him on Google. If you've got any info on him please advise.

That's the guy. Had a nice 9" tactical (G10ish type handle) fixed blade in AUS-8, with the chef's knife type shape that went for only $36 on eBay. I'm regreting not getting it because I'm looking for that blade shape without paying a Rinaldi price. Thanks.

Well, I am from Canada and though I don't know every maker up here, I do know the really popular ones. This guy I have never heard of. His knives do look good for the price though, and from the feedback he has gotten, people seem to like them.
