Anyone heard of "Bad Blood" knives?

Hey, guys, so I work in a gun shop and we carry some pretty stout little folders and fixed blades under the name Bad Blood Knives. They look like really neat little, er, big knives, and have an awesome feel to them, but have 8cr14mov steel. All of them that we carry have sculpted G-10. Anyone have any experience with these? I'm seriously considering picking up either a folder or a fixed blade today, and probably will.

I've seen them online before, but they didn't catch my interest. Figured them for slightly upmarket truck stop junk.

Would be interested in a user review.

I looked at some online and I saw a lot that looked like cheaper MTech quality but the ones we carry are the ones that were designed by Sean Kendrick and David Mosier. At first glance I seriously thought they were a custom.

I've owned a few and looked at more - they are well-made and well-designed but none of them make any concessions to weight. Unmilled liners, thick blades, full slabs of G10. They are bricks, but sturdy and well-made bricks. I've been considering some of their fixed blade options (Decepter, Raiju) as the price point is really very good.

I've seen their adds a couple times. $60 for an 8cr blade is a little steep IMO. That said, Knifecenter has the decepter for $20. That is a hell of a price! Just placed an order.

Their designs are nice just lower end materials. Not bad for what they are..

Bad Blood Knives are production versions of custom knives, mostly designs by David Mosier of DM Knives. I have a Bad Blood Crossfire and a Partisan Nano, and what Comeuppance said is entirely correct: they're beefy, chunky, heavy, fairly well made knives. They definitely aren't $60 knives though. If you can find them in the $20-40 range, they're a good option. None would be considered "small" though...

I have the Partisan Nano and keep it in my car as a backup blade, but it has seen some use too. One of the most comfortable handles out there. My dad has one as well and uses his a lot to process deer and just utility chores. He loves his, and while it doesn't hold edge very long, it gets sharp quickly.

Bought one awhile back as a work knife , the fit and finish is nice but I'm not sure the blade is worth the MSRP .

I've been close to trying them before, but the price and materials has always kept me from pulling the trigger.

Okay, I got the Decepter in the mail today. Knifecenter got it here very quickly. I got it for $27 shipped including a freebie smiths fine stone. My initial impression is this is totally worth what I paid. It is not heavy or bulky like some of their other products are reported. It is the same thickness as an Esee 3. Thinner than the 4. Fit and finish isn't perfect but at this price I don't expect that. The sheath doesn't quite feel like kydex. More like a mix between kydex and molded plastic. The clip is good, sort of like a cheaper G-clip. With some modding the sheath set up is very well done and versatile. I haven't used or sharpened it so it could be pot metal with no heat treat for all I know. All said and done it is a screaming deal for what I paid. Knifecenter still has them listed at this price. If you are thinking about getting this knife, do it now before they are gone.

That design doesn't look too bad at all.
