Anyone heard of Bud Pruitt?

Has anyone ever heard of knifemaker Bud Pruitt? Info about him is very sparse. He supposedly worked in Ocala, FL and is deceased.

How long was he active? When did he pass away? Was he prolific? Were his knives well regarded? What were his favorite knife designs, if any?
