My husband and I are fairly new to knives, but we are stumbling on something that you may be able to help with:

BUDA.

He had came upon a knife being sold at Arizona Custom Knives, and really liked its looks, and, admittedly, the price point.

It sold, but…he can’t find anything else about, BUDA, the seller didn’t say all too much about the knife in general.

So, I tried to sleuth around, and sure enough…nothing.

I did notice the similarities between BUDA & RIGID, at least in the…font(?) which was stamped on the blade.

I’m happy to have found this forum, and hope to learn more about all different types of blades out there.

Thanks for reading this…

The BUDA knife kind of reminds me of the old Buck/TOPS CSAR-T knives, both the fixed blade and folder. Not sure what the BUDA style equivalent would be these days, though the Steel Will Cager is sort of remotely similar.

If is stamped Buda, or etched Buda Edged tools, I am the maker. I was making knives from 2005-to around 2012 or so, most of my blades were 154cm/cpm 154cm, all made in Louisiana when I was stationed at Ft Polk.
