I recently picked up an Olympicus Solingen Germany Stainless knife. I've been trying to determine if my knife is a real Solingen because I can not any information to identify it. The knife is marked Olympicus Solingen Germany Stainless and has an insignia of what appears to be a discus thrower on it. The knife has a fixed blade, wooden handle with a brass bolster and rivets. Perhaps it was a custom design or handmade for one of the Olympics? I don't know. I attached a few photos. Thanks!

Updating... I contacted a Solingen expert via the Chamber of Commerce in Solingen Germany. He reviewed the photos and said it was a very old Solingen mark that is no longer in existence today. I don't know if that is good or bad.
