Anyone heard of the brand American it's a slipjoint?

Found this knife awhile back. Seems to be made fairly well. 440 stainless says American Cutlery Hand made on blade. Looks alot like boker congress. I can't find any info.Thanks for your help.
 
I am unfamiliar with the brand.
Sounds like it is made in China. (nothing particularly wrong with that.)
