Anyone heard of this company called Ofmer?

Recently, I came across some folders and fixed blades that have the word "Ofmer" printed on the blade.

I am curious about this company "Ofmer." I have not heard of it.

Anyone has any idea about his particular brand?

is this name "Ofmer" written in plain latin letters or in old german gothic letters? Does this knife look somehow german? I´ve seen curious transscriptions of words in gothic here on the forum. A picture would help.

But even here in Germany the knowledge of old letters fades away.

From what I can remember, doesn't the lower-case letter "s" look like a lower-case "f" in some old Germanic scripts? Maybe then it could be "Osmer"?

The printed letters can be hard enough to read. The handwriting is really obscure. I doubt anyone uses that anymore.
