I've seen the Columbia name and logo on some Chinese knives, and to be honest it certainly looks like one, with whatever the heck is on the grip. Probably something to assure your hand gets even more slippery and hot.

"Columbia FuShaoXin"

Just another Chinese maker to me. Some Chinese companies produce good stuff. Some, not. If you think yours is one of the good ones: cool! and enjoy.

the metal is 440 c
How would you know? Even if marked as such, I don't believe I would trust it to be fact. I'm not trying to slam your knife, but China's track record on honest labeling has been far from stellar.

Unfortunately everything about it screams cheap Chinese knife. But if you like it and it works for you, then that is all that matters.

It is made in China. If YOU like it, and it cuts stuff for you, then it's a good knife.

Howdy; I was at a local auction tonight. I bid/won 12.50$ on this exact same knife. Blackish greyish handle, oval/diamond inlayed handle, came in a black nylon sheath w Velcro tie strap in. No box or Made in ...... anywhere. Seems to be a alright knife though. There were several other same type looking knives in a collection of maybe 12-15 some were marked "Made in China" on them, some were not. I'll put it in a concealed spot, just in case. Never can have too many knives laying around. Enjoy.

Blade shape reminds me of the Buck 110!

Let us know how it performs once you get the chance to take it for a spin!!

Looks like they are just trying to pass themselves off as a Columbia Sportswear product. Which, I'm gonna bet, they are not.

But, other than trying to rip off somebody else's logo, I'm sure its great.

Had one like this before, same Columbia logo, but the others were completely different. Probably just another rip off like mine.

Like has been said before, its a Chinese one made to look like it was produced by the Columbia clothing company. But if it works for ya, then that's what matters.
