I had heard you can have no legal self defense weapons in England. One guy told me they use sharp pencils, W.D. 40 and a slap coin purse for self defense in England. I will be going to London next year. I like to travel with some pepper spray, an assisted opening knife and a collapsible baton.
If I ran into trouble in the U.K. and had to put some of the aforementioned weapons to use, what sort of problems would an American face?
I'm 62 and not into bars or booze, so any trouble I'd get would be from attacks on the street or subway. I've ran into trouble many times in the US of A and the weapons came in handy. The attacks I've experienced were from me standing or walking and doing nothing.
Thanks!
