Anyone here have any experience with

Don't own one, but I've heard good stuff about Ft. Turner's hawks. I've also traded a couple emails with the guy, and he's super nice.

I was checking that site out last week. No experience to speak of but they look nice and the price seems right.

I own one of his Iroquois hawks and love it! It's got plenty of edge width to be able to chop small trees with... say... up to 6" or so, but the edge is plenty thin so it bites well. Very light on the belt and in the hand, too. Haven't thrown it yet, but it certainly does lend itself to the idea. Two thumbs up, here.

I ordered his medium pole ax. I will review it when it arrives. I have a Cold Steel hawk as well. Great thrower, but a bit heavy.

I have heard nothing but good about Ft. Turner and ordered an Iroquois hawk yesterday. Very much looking forward to getting it and seeing how it throws.

I have two of them. Both are the Iroquois model. The first one was a bit too small for me so later on I requested a larger version. I'm keeping the small one though as it throws very well.

FT's forging is excellent, with thinnish but very well tempered blades.

The first one, the small one, is in the center. The one made to my specs is on the right.
