If my woman knew the price I paid for some of my steel she'd have pups. I usually dont go over $200 with a bit of postage. At that she still thinks I am crazy. Anyone else hide the price from their ladies, partners, sweethearts (whatever you hold hands with) :D

Nope!

Mrs So-Lo knows about what everything costs and what's incoming... What's going, and what's up for trade...

Not that she cares, but I like to talk to her about it as she rolls her eyes! :D

Mrs SA is in the same boat. Hell, there are times when I am pretty sure she just agrees, regardless of price, to get me to shut up. Maybe we should ask the wives if they would like to start a support group. :D

C`mon, get serious....most women don`t understand that there`s a fine line between "hobby" and "fiscal irresponsibility combined with mental illness".... :-)

Mine were always a "good deal"
Now there is no woman, so I just have to convince myself its a good deal (which isnt very hard :D)

Yeah, i get mine on "sale" too! Lucky for me theres always a 70-80% discount when im about to shop :D

That being said if she corners me, all i have to do is point to her closet and shoes and she'll back off.

But seriously, neither of us goes spending money we dont have, and we both respect each others hobbies so all is fine in the end!

Is this even a question, heck no. I've got stuff my wife doesn't even know I have or when I got it. When she does stumble across something every once in while and thinks its new (which of course it is) I immediately refer to the six rules of engagement. Lie, lie, lie, deny, deny, deny.

I tell her I've had that for years, most of my knives are cash deals are done through my work credit cards ( I own a small company) then I just reimburse the company for my purchase. She never sees the company tax returns, p& l's, etc.

So absolutely not, especially after I watched her clean up her closet about two weeks ago and saw the shoes, I stopped counting at 50 pairs, and let me tell you women's shoe can be expensive. So again, NO WAY, its just not good for the relationship as it would just be one more to muddy the waters. She gets her shoes and I get my gear (knives, guns, lights, deer stands, mud tires) etc.

If my wife had any idea what I spend on knives, I would be in deep doo-doo, to say the least. She turns a blind eye to my purchases, and I pretend not to notice when new purses and shoes magically appear in her closet. As long as the bills get paid, everything works out fine.

Nope.. I don't hide anything and I refuse to lie about it. Not in my character

MikeC is absolutely right about the woman's closet, but don't ever make the mistake that equity has any bearing in a woman's thinking. Equal to her means 80/20 in her favor!

When I got my first gun, I told my wife it was issued from the army, and when I still had it after I quit army, she asked me if I was`nt going to return it; lol..
Told her I got a bargain buying it out, at 150$ and everything was OK...
Women know a good deal when they hear about it, lol,,
So my S&W 9mm M&P was "issued and bought" from the Norwegian army, anyone able to beat that one, HAHA...

I can't, unfortunately, we use the same PP account. Sometimes she sits in front of the computer and she goes: "What the hell?...". It gets better with time, though, they get tired of complaining.
