Any collectors in SE Michigan here? I was wondering if anyone used to shop at the little knife shop in Gibraltar trade center back in the 1990s and early 2000s. It had all sorts of spydercos and gigands, if anyone remembers those.

I remember it. I still regret not getting a Buck 184 Buckmaster back in the day.

There’s a little store in Lincoln Park now but they only sell Buck, Case and Bear and Sons.

The Gibraltar in Taylor across from the mall?

That’s the one. Eureka Rd. And I-75.

There's a gibraltar trade center in Taylor? I had nooooooo idea. I grew up with knowing only one in existance, and that was in Mount Clemens right off of i94. I meant the Mt. Clemens place. Anyone shop there in the 90's?

I forgot all about the Mt. Clemens Gibraltar.

The Taylor one was torn down. It’s now a Menards and a BJ’s warehouse.

I rarely made it much further south from Da Soo’ than Jay’s in Gaylord for outdoor gear, but did ride my Triumph Scrambler down there and back on the same day to buy a Triumph Tiger. It was a rough ride but better than spending the night down there. . . 😂

Small world, i rode from carp lake (near mackinaw) to Decatur Indiana to get my bike dyno tuned and ecu flashed, turned around and rode home, same day. Used to go to Jay's.

Im 15 minutes from Jays
I loved going to Jay’s. It was like Cabela’s but with a down-home - as opposed to corporate - feel. Gotta be careful in that place though. It’s easy to spend lot of money there. . .
