Anyone interested in seeing the return of the 705?

Yeah, I know, the 707 is similar. But, there's just something I like about the 705. Probably the blade, (I'm a fan of shallow recurves,) combined with the handle material. (Full G10 or aluminum is fine, but I'm not crazy about both.) I just wanted one from the moment I laid eyes on it, there aren't many knives I can say that for. Actually, I don't think there're any others at all.
Anyone else feel similarly?

The 705 is long gone...

And I have to disagree...the wider 707 blade gives me confidence in using it more ruggedly

I might get burned for saying this, but I think the 707 is the most complete EDC folder ever made...even better than the Sebenza.

I will however agree that the 705 is sleeker.

For sure, but what I'd rather see is the 705 style in a 943 length - split the difference between 705 & 710. I've got a 943 that I've used forever, but a 705/710 style blade at the 943 length with g10 or CF grips would justify tapping into the rainy day cash.

The 705 was and is a neat little knife; an interesting mix of a slim blade and thick handle/frame. I would love to see a 705 done with better blade steel, and even in plain old black G-10 a limited would sell quickly.

I would love to see it make a comeback! I know im not the only one that would snag up 1 or 2 if they came back.

I have a 707 and really like it, never had a 705 and don't think I would like it as much as the 707. I would really like to see some handle material and blade material options for the 707. It would be cool if the did an M4, or M390 707. Dan57, have you checked out a 707? I think you might like it.

If they just made the 707 available with full G10 scales I'd be happy. S30V would be cool too. ;)

How hard is it to find these secondhand or as new old stock? Only saw one eBay listing at I think 225 or 295, every other market result was for the 707.

Which also looks like a great knife, but the 705's mini-710 really does it for me.

Sadly the 705's are really hard to come by. The listings on the bay are grossly inflated.

Best thing to do would be to keep a sharp eye on the exchange or post a WTB thread.

Great advice, that's often the best way to track down particular discontinued models isn't it?
