I just discovered the Case Christmas knives this week, and for some reason I couldn't resist ordering the 2009 Case Christmas Trapper. I actually plan to carry it through the holidays.

I have a Case Christmas Tree Celluloid Small Gunstock Jack knife and a Case Coca Cola Christmas Peanut, do they count?

Here's a shot of the Christmas Tree Celluloid:

I'd heard of those, but have never seen a nice picture of one. Very nice.

Also didn't know that Case made other holiday knives. Guess it only makes sense that they do, being so collectable.

Received one as a gift from my wife two years ago for Christmas and really enjoyed it. Not always a huge fan of the holiday specials but these and the some of the Halloween offerings are nifty.

I have a set of case trappers I bought at a dallas market hall gun show about 20 years ago, eight dot 1982, the seller said they were a christmas set, their numbered, one with green bone and one with red bone, the main blade is normal but the secondary blade is serrated, I've never seen a serrated blade on a case trapper.

I've thought about getting the 'Magician's Peanut' - green scale on one side, red on the other. I used to think they were sorta weird, but now I find them kind of appealing.

I normally carry a smaller knife during the holidays, because of the school & company parties, etc. I figure a little 'holiday' knife is pretty cool with the non-knife folk we're around.

thx - cpr
