I have been looking for a good used, preferably low cost tattoo handset for some time now with no success. Any of you forumites know anyone that might have one they'd like to sell or maybe swap for a nice handmade knife and sheath????? Thanks!! Michael

If it is for schrimshaw, go down to your local Goodwill, and find an old Braun Shaver, the internal motor may be what you are looking for.

Well, it's for scrim, but if I stink at that i can always set up a booth at the flea market.

Michael, I hope you want the machine for scrimshaw and not amatuer tattooing. Proffessional tattooists need to take many courses and be certified for bloodborne problems and sterilization. That said, try any of the tattoo mags you can find at a newstand, most have ads for inexpensive machines.
PS-Cheap tattoos are never good and good tattoos are not cheap
