Anyone know about a Komoran Katana???

Hey Guys

Just picked up a Komoran Katana in a trade. It looks to be a low layer count forged damascus type steel, with maybe a core of a single type of steel?? Never seen one by this name and a search on the Web netted me no information. The mounts are not much to talk about, but the blade is pleasing in shape and finish. Anyone know anything about this one ???: confused:

any pictures you can share? i've never heard of "Komoran" but a picture might be useful for comparison with other katana swords.

if it stops raining here and the sun comes out I will see if I can get a picture of it... It is just a normal Katana, nothing special about it.. A grove in the flat, the right amount of curve and a nicely shaped point. The steel has been finished just right to show the layers but not shine to much...
