Was just wondering if there were any tactical folders anyone would recommend which were reasonably cheap. Maybe i have missed some knives while browsing or possibly BRANDS:D

Hard to miss this one...Spyderco Endura....In my opinion the best bang for the buck..

Outdoor Edge Magna
CRKT Crawford/Kasper

These two are great buys.

CRKT does put out a great product, but I sure wish they would refrain from printing "taiwan" on the blade...

Another vote for CRKT. The M16-03M is a great design, with AUS-8A steel for a very decent price. Excellent customer service, as well. Doug

Maybe you should give us some indication on just how cheap you are?
What's your budget moderator wannabee?

The already mentioned CRK&T, Zytel handled Spydercos, and the folder lineup from Outdoor Edge. The Outdoor Edge Magna kicks ass. Outdoor Edges zytel line are excellent knives also.

Almost forgot....

The Benchmade Griptilian. It offers an axis lock at a very economical price.

I read somewhere that U.S. Customs require that products made outside the U.S. have the country of origin stamped on them.

CRK&T: Crawford/Kasper (large), CRK&T: M16-03 and CRK&T: Point Guard (large) are the ones which I can recommend based on own experiences.

Enough cannot be said about the Spyderco Endura and Delica. They are both excellent choices... budget or not.

Be wary of how low you go with something that you want to last and/or you may count on to save your rear in a pinch!

Professor.

As Professor mentioned.., just don't buy something you think looks "cool" for $9.95.., you will buy 3 or 4 of them in a heartbeat to learn you could have had a good knife (and some change)...for the same expenditure.

Maybe just alittle to the left of this thread, but can someone tell me WHY CRKT, who make a pretty damn good production folder for the bucks HAS TO go outside this GREAT Country to ruin a really nice knife with that NASTY word "TAIWAN" stamped on the Blade and ALSO on the Box? I am ashamed to give an M-16, an S-2, Ryan Seven, etc. as gifts BECAUSE of that one Damn word:eek: :( :( WHY?:( :( wolf
