Another great site, not just about survival, with lot of resources is www.outdoors-magazine.com/forums. Lot of people from TLT and Knifeforums finished there, and there is a lot of knoledge.

I to would love more survival talk, this site is good but there isnt alot of people or new threads. I tried hanging up at KnifeForums's Survival formal, but all they talk about is Bark River knives, not that there is anything wrong with them, I just find it hard to believe that there the only survival knife needed.

That's not my experience. There are a lot of good, informative threads and much more going on than here.

Survival is about a lot more than just knives. Yes, there are Bark River enthusiasts there but they would agree that there are plenty of other good knife choices, aside from a lot of other equipment and knowledge/experience of great value in survival and woodcraft.

It was a lot better forum before "the flame wars". There was a thread on what the best chopper was that degenerated into a flame war that kind of depopulated the forum.
