Anyone know anything bout this??

Hey, i got this knife from a friend for my birthday and the only thing i know about it is that it is a Benchmade knife. Pre production. 2 blades. and thats about it.

Lemme know if you guys/gals know anything. Would be cool to see if this knife had value or something.

fairly rare knife of very high quality. my last one i let go of about 4 years back, great quality & a different style not seen very often.--dennis
 
BM 921 Switchback. Main blade of S30V with axis lock, secondary slipjoint (non-locking) blade of 440C, anodized aluminum handle. Discontinued years ago.

Why would you care if it had value?. I hope your not thinking of selling it. It was a gift from a friend:confused:
 
No, i would never concider selling it. I love this knife and i use it on a daily basis. But if it was a rare knife i was gonna send it in for resharpening and then i was gonna stick it away and get something else for daily use.
 
Well, if something happens to it, it will not be easy to replace. And take it easy on that little blade, it isn't meant for real use. It's more of a letter opener than a real knife blade. Or at least tht's what Benchmade told me when I snapped one off cutting silicone caulking.
