Anyone know how many SEAL Team (8) Spyderco polices were made??.

I got one of the SEAL TEAM 8 spyderco polices with gin 1 steel in trade, but cant find any info on it. Anyone know how many were made?. And when they were made?. Thanks in advance. :)
 
Have you ask down in the Spyderco forum ? I have never heard of this knife, do you have any pics ?

I havent asked over there, should have thought of that :) . I dont have a pic but it looks like the other seal team police models but with an 8 as the number.
 
i know several yrs ago i almost swapped for 1 from "jaxurman" of forum fame, but we never could work out a deal, IIRC he wanted around $150 for it & i didnt feel the need for one that badly lol, so i passed, but it was for team 8 IIRC, so they have been around a while, IIRC he had several 'team' knives, all police models, all looked about the same w/the trident logo and a number stamped (engraved?) in the handle. also IIRC one was a matriarch w/the logo on the blade, ya dont see them very often though.
