Anyone know how to disassemble the Todd Begg Steelcraft 3/4 Kwaiken? (Production version by Reate)

The pivot screw on the the back side has a torx hole, but on the presentation side it's a plain screw. When I turn it from the torx side, the pivot just spins, and there's nothing to hold the plain pivot screw.

Does anyone have experience taking this knife apart?

The body screws on Hinderers are the same way. Get a hot glue gun, put some glue on the pivot, and press it down on your work surface. If you press that knife onto the hot glue while turning the pivot, it should come loose. Very gentle heating on the pivot may help as well.

I don't have this particular knife, but on other knives that do this, I've had good luck just opening the knife, and putting a little lateral or side pressure on the blade, by pressing it into the table. This "binds" the pivot enough to keep it from spinning.

This was a discussion between Begg knives and Nick Shabazz over on Youtube regarding a Field Marshall but utilize the exact same pivot system as the Kwaiken
