I have a powersupply anodizer...but how do you create two colors like this? And also why does it look so creamy? This is incredible.

looks beed blasted then heavly etched maybe 55volt yellow then scuffed and 29volt blue justa guess from the picture

Probably masked i during the process or just sanded some select spots. Or both.

Best way to find out is to start making test pieces.

Also check over at the instructables. Lots of how to anno Ti articles there.

but what would prevent the other parts from changing colors?

This is one of the neat things about anodizing...you start with the higher voltage, masking off the areas you don't want colored, then as you progress through lower voltages, the colors that you got at higher voltages don't change.

that makes total sense.....that's fucking awesome. I just bought a power supply but haven't used it yet...excited to use it now though. Have you heard of something called Multi-etch? do you use it? I thought it was supposed to make colors brighter but I guess it has the opposite effect?

eagle one etching mag wheel cleaner is easy to get at the parts store and might even work better the multi etch (i was helping a manufacture cause they coudl not get the same brightness of colors i have been) been working on mid tec balisongs with jerry HOM lots of color options
