Ok so recently I used a polishing wheel to buff out a scuff on a satin finished blade. It worked really well, The satin lines on the grind are still very visible and there is a nice gloss over them. unfortunately using a powered wheel it's a bit tough to make it an even finish without going fully polished, especially considering that the thumb studs are not removable. There are a few spots that have a bit of haze if the light hits it just right. So I was thinking If I had a piece of say microfiber, suede, or maybe felt impregnated with polishing compound or diamond spray I could hand buff and get a nice even finish. I was also thinking that it'd be a nice thing to have to just give it a quick rub down every now and then as a touch up. Anyone do anything like this or know of a source for something like this? I can always just buy the spray and appropriate cloth. What would be the best choice of cloth for this?
