im think about starting to put beads on some of my knives. Wanted to know if anyone had any good recommendations

Get you a few Scoopyloops. Be warned that they are hard to find and can be on the expensive side, depending on the material and where you buy them

The maratac yorick skull is my favorite.

Edit- Man sorry, it looks like they don't have them anymore.

I don’t know why I wasn’t getting notifications about people posting in this form. Sorry about that guys, and thank you. I’ll be looking into your suggestions

TiSurvival makes some really cool ano'd titanium stuff. I have also used a bunch of Schmuckatelly pewter skulls, mostly because they are really cheap. Among the higher ticket prices, I've seen some really neat beads turned from superconductor rods. Can't think of any specific names right now, but they are all over IG. If you happen to be a fan of little spinning tops, there is a company that makes a mini concave spin station into a (somewhat large) bead. You'll have to message me for their name as I don't think they are a paying member here.

One of my other go-to's is to make my own just coiling wire. I have some in pure silver that was purchased for some jewelry and craft purposes. And even more in copper. It's pretty cheap and easy to find in any home store. I've used both 12 and 16 gauge. Just need some needle nose pliers. If you want to get really precise, pick up some round jewelry pliers from a craft store. They are relatively light, and I just like the looks of them.

Because I like my lanyards, I made this swatch of cordage and leather lace that I have on hand, to help in deciding what to use when I get a new knife. Ok, it's obvious that I'm pretty cheap, (yeah, and tacky too, I know, I know ;) ), but I like my lanyards. Mostly for how they function, and a little for how they look. And if my son says he likes something, I don't care how weird or tacky, I'm probably going to use it. And I'm obviously a crazy fan of titanium and silver.

The AltDynamic, Titanium Spin Bead, is just above the flashlight in this pic. Milled on the side showing, and concave dish on the other side.

Bflying,Thanks for the info!

I’m really new to beads, I’m actually looking to pick up my first. I like a medium size bead, not into the skulls so much. Is the one of the mass drop falcon homemade? I’m looking for beads in the $50ish price point. Something nice but not crazy still I find out what I really like.

Just got my first 3 beads for TIsurvivel
Nice. He's got some great stuff. The one on my Falcon in the pic above a just a twist of 16 gauge grounding wire. Pulled from some home electrical wire scrap.

Here's a pic of some copper wrapping around looping pliers. Needle Nose work too. Or could just wrap around a pencil or small dowel. Just don't get direct burial wire like in this pic. It's a total pain to strip. But all I could find to take a picture of.
