Anyone know of Patrick Donovan?

I would like some contact info. if possible.
I have this knife, and would like to know the steel type if possible.

last I heard was that Patrick had retired. Very good knifemaker.

Here is a dagger I obtained from Patrick at the first Guild Show I attended in 1988. It is quite uinque.

I do not know what kind of steel the little red knife I have is, but I will say my hat is off to him, because it is scary sharp.
One of those knives you do not want to try to shave hair with, because your hair could turn red very quickly.
The pics do not do the knife justice.
Beautiful file work on top, and some on bottom as well.
Real red dyed bone handles.
I will try to post more pics.
I would be interested in more of his excellent work if anyone has a lead.

Hi, I have two Partick Donovan knives which I was trying to find more info about. It took me several months of postings around the net to find out Patricks last name. But thanks to the people here at bladeforum I pretty much got to find out who made my knives overnight.

abswa, if you have photo editing software loaded in your computer you should reduce the size of your photos. They are way too large. When taking pictures for the internet you should set your camera to 640 X 480 or at a maimum of 1024 X 768.
