Hello all, I'm looking for a good neck knife to take to the pool with me. Hence the Ti I'd settle for stainless if I had to due to cost (I need to keep it under fifty) but I'd really perfer Ti. Thanks once again.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

I own a Titanium Tiger by Newt Livesay. I think it was $22. Essentially a worthless knife for anything other than poking someone in a last-ditch effort. It was designed to be a hideout knife and it would perform that task excellent, so do not buy it hoping it will make a good utility knife! I think Newt is still offering a couple different options in titanium. Also, run to the shop talk forum and see 4th's post on Titanium Tips. He is making a few titanium neck knives with Kydex sheaths and may be looking to sell one to you. I have no idea if he is selling them or not, but he might if the price is right.

How about Talonite? You'd definitely be looking at way over $50, but Allen Blade could probably make you a nice talonite neck knife for a fair price...

There are lots of inexpensive stainless knives. I'd look there for overall value.

Hey! I'm glad you asked! REALLY, REALLY glad!

Thanks for the plug, Chiro!

How does this strike your fancy?

This one needs a little more sanding, but it's finished otherwise. 7.5" long, 1/8" thick, 1" wide. Kydex neck sheath comes with it.

It's nice kinda what I'm looking for. Talk to me about edge retention, ease of sharpening and sheath. I'm really curious to know.
