This is a photo of Delta Force taken in 2001. My friend said the knife on his chest rig is from Sykco, but he doesn't know the specific model. Does anyone know the exact model? Thank you very much.

I would guess basic 5 or even basic 3 (smaller handle)
would need to see the blade though.

I will measure the depth of the map pocket inside this chest rig. Currently, I estimate it to be over 15 cm deep.

Based on the map pocket depth of this chest rig being 20cm, does that mean the blade length of this knife is also about 20cm, and therefore the model should be the Basic 7?

20CM is roughly 7.87" so it could fit any Basic model up to a Basic 8.

it is a of your friend from 2001 correct

I am guessing he no longer has the knife ?

He still has the rig ?

He said it went to the bottom of the pocket ?

No SYKCO knives in 2001 so none of those.

I think Swamp Rat started in 2002 I believe ?

Tali-Whacker was after 2001 . and had smooth res c


The small Basic series handle was unique to the basic 5 and basic 3

Basic 6 and basic 7 were larger basic handles

It has to be a early basic because of the mold lines and time line
Old Basic's have molded in grip panel

Basic 8 was made much later than 2001 so that can not be it. also smooth res c

I am sticking with more than likely Basic 5
